Immediate Edge App Academy ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who we are
Immediate Edge App Academy is a strictly educational crypto-systems academy. It provides a Curriculum Map of ten knowledge domains, three guided lesson Tracks (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), the Mastery Loop AI workspace, a Concept Codex of crypto vocabulary, a Probe Vault, a Skill Audit diagnostic, a Daily Drill micro-quiz, Insight Boards, and a Credential Studio that issues local learning certificates. The App does not provide prices, trading, wallets, portfolios, or any form of financial advice.
2. Information we collect
Stored locally on your device, never uploaded to our servers:
- Your Mastery Loops, including topic, the questions returned by the AI, your written probe answers, and the AI calibration.
- Your Probe Vault, pinned items, codex bookmarks, drill streak, and Skill Audit results.
- Track progress and locally issued learning credentials.
Sent to our servers (if you opt in to the advisor-call feature):
- The first name, last name, email address, and phone number you enter on the advisor-call form.
- Your network request address (IP), used in real time on our servers to route your call to the correct advisor team and discarded after that decision is made. The IP is not stored alongside your contact details.
- An anonymous application identifier so we can associate your submission with the correct product.
Read on your device but not transmitted, except as described in section 6.A:
- Your device's Region preference (the country code in your iOS or Android Region setting) is read on-device when the App starts, in order to decide which experience to render. This is your stated preference, not your GPS location, and reading it does not trigger a permission prompt.
Used in real time but not retained by us:
- The Mastery Loop sends the topic you enter, the questions returned by the AI, and your written probe answer to our own gateway, which forwards them to a third-party AI provider for processing on our behalf. The provider's API credential is held by us on our servers and never embedded in the App. Do not enter sensitive personal data, financial information, account credentials, or confidential third-party data into the Mastery Loop.
3. Information we do not collect
- We do not collect wallet addresses, private keys, transaction history, or any trading data.
- We do not collect government-issued identifiers, biometrics, or health data.
- We do not collect precise GPS or Core Location data. The App does not call your device's Location services.
- We do not call third-party IP geolocation services from your device. Where region is needed and your device Region preference is unavailable, our gateway resolves it server-side from the IP address of your request.
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
4. How we use information
- To deliver the educational features of the App.
- To route advisor-call submissions to the correct partner advisor team.
- To send push notifications you have opted into, such as new learning content.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
- To improve the App in aggregate, using non-identifying telemetry.
5. Sharing of information
- Service providers that help us operate the App (cloud hosting, push delivery, third-party AI provider for the Mastery Loop, analytics) under contractual confidentiality.
- Partner advisor teams, only when you submit the advisor-call form, and only the fields required to make that call.
- Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.
- Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will notify users in advance.
6. AI provider
The Mastery Loop, Skill Audit grading, and similar AI features are processed by a third-party AI provider in real time. The App sends your input to our own gateway over an encrypted connection; our gateway then forwards it to the provider over an encrypted connection and returns the structured result. The provider's API credential is held only on our server, never embedded in the App. The provider's processing is governed by their own terms; ours is reflected here.
6.A App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
If you proceed to submit the advisor-call form, your contact details may be shared with a partner advisor team for the purpose of arranging your call. Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework this constitutes tracking. On iOS the App will request your permission via the system prompt before any such submission can be sent. If you decline, the advisor-call submission is not transmitted. The educational features of the App remain fully available regardless of your choice.
7. Data retention
Local on-device data (Mastery Loops, probe answers, drill history, credentials, codex bookmarks) is retained until you delete the App or reset its data. Advisor-call submissions are retained by us only as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the call and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR in the EEA and UK GDPR in the UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@immediatedgeacademy.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International data transfers
Information collected through the advisor-call form may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
11. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit for data sent to our servers, and on-device secure storage for local data. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a screen lock and to keep your operating system up to date.
12. Links to other sites
The App may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are not covered by this Policy. Please review their terms before using them.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, with in-app notice.
